About the role
- Own and drive revenue growth for process valves and instrumentation by partnering directly with sales to develop opportunities, influence specifications, and close business
- Serve as the primary owner of supplier relationships, ensuring strong partnerships, clear alignment, and effective execution across the process valve and instrumentation business
- Develop and maintain the product line strategy in addition to expanding process product line offerings
- Plan and execute product target accounts blitzes including pricing, messaging, and go-to market strategies
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the company for valves, actuators, and instrumentation technologies
- Provide application guidance, sizing/selection support, and technical training to sales team customers
- Support key customer engagements, including site visits, presentations, and troubleshooting
- Monitor product line performance, including revenue, margin, market share, and cost trends
- Develop product collateral, training materials, competitive analyses, and value proposition messaging
- Build strong relationships with customers with the goal of expanding further into existing accounts and increase presence in new accounts
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical sales, product management or application engineering within industrial equipment or process automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience
- Proven experience selling engineered valve and instrumentation solutions with the ability to convert technical capability into clear customer value and revenue growth
- Ability to lead sales discussions with customers and sales teams by confidently presenting and recommending process valve and instrumentation solutions in joint calls and field engagements
- Strong understanding of valves, actuators, sensors, or process instrumentation
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and manage complex projects
- Experience in process industries (oil & gas, chemical, power, water, food & beverage)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, ISA, IEC, SIL
