About the role
- Communicate regularly with borrowers and insurance agents to obtain evidence of required insurance coverage within established timeframes
- Perform compliance reviews of insurance certificates and policies and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure insurance requirements are met
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date insurance data in the servicing systems for all assigned loans
- Assist in gathering insurance information needed for lender and internal audits
- Work with senior team members on insurance waiver and exception request submissions for non-compliant insurance issues
- Take on challenges, acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
- Perform other administrative duties and tasks, as assigned.
Requirements
- BA/BS required
- 1+ years’ experience in the property and casualty insurance industry preferred. (e.g. CRE Portfolio Administrator, CSR, Account Manager, Underwriter Assistant, Processor, etc.,)
- Experience in loan documentation and agency guidelines preferred
- Familiarity using financial institution software, e.g., McCracken Strategy
- Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy with numbers, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Exhibit self-motivation and ability to multi-task whether working independently or on a team
