About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and assist the Manager for LLCs with the coordination, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the Living Learning Communities program, including other duties as assigned.
  • Support the Manager for LLCs with the ongoing guidance and mentorship of the LLC Peer Leaders.
  • Support their leadership development and advise on the creation and execution of academic and social programming within their communities.
  • Support the Manager for LLCs with data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts related to the effectiveness of LLC initiatives.
  • Assist the Manager for LLCs in designing and facilitating programs, activities, and trainings for students and staff.
  • Coordinate with UHD colleagues to develop marketing and recruitment strategies for LLCs.
  • Manage newsletters that include updates, important reminders, and community highlights.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Admitted to a graduate program at the University of Texas at Austin
  • Graduate students enrolled for master's and/or Doctoral degree in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy.
  • Graduate students with experience or background in housing and Residence Life.
