About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads assigned marketing projects from concept to completion
  • Serves as the primary marketing lead for complex initiatives
  • Facilitates communication between leadership and execution teams
  • Maintains accountability for project performance, timelines, and outcomes
  • Develops and leads integrated marketing campaign strategies
  • Partners with UHD leadership and operational teams to identify priorities
  • Ensures campaigns are operationally feasible and aligned with goals and expectations
  • Provides creative input and ensures campaign messaging aligns with UHD’s mission
  • Leads the development of high-level marketing content across digital, print, and environmental platforms
  • Serves as a key steward of the UHD brand
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen storytelling and enhance brand experience
  • Works collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications team
  • Provides mentorship or guidance to student staff as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience promoting products or services
  • At least 1 year of professional marketing or communications experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept through execution (preferred)
  • Experience developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns (preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and organizational leadership (preferred)
  • Experience in higher education or a similar field (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable creative software (preferred)
