Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, budget administration, and forecasting for University Housing and Dining (UHD)
Perform various activities as part of the monthly and year-end close-outs
Review and audit contract compliance and conduct financial presentations to various stakeholders
Review accounts and fund groups for propriety of entries and approval of vouchers
Assist in integration of UHD financial systems to Workday ERP system
Utilize COGNOS and/or Tableau analytics to create and modify reports and dashboards
Develop and prepare reports, monthly closing entries, financial analysis, and financial models
Assist in preparing data for feasibility and benchmark studies
Prepare presentations as needed
Perform impact analysis and maintain complex databases for comprehensive financial and technical analysis
Utilize Business Intelligence systems to monitor performance and financial benchmarks
Identify opportunities for expense management and research accuracy of expenses
Calculate and forecast changes in costs due to reformulation or service changes
Review costs and perform cost-benefit analysis for capital expenditure projects
Maintain procurement, inventory analysis, and supply chain data
Facilitate the annual budget development process and assist in the review of current UHD business processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
At least 6 years progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting with experience in planning, forecasting, cost and financial analysis
Use of personal computer and other standard office machines
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
