About the role
- Serve as a strategic partner and internal consultant to departments in assessing training needs, identifying performance gaps, and recommending appropriate learning solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain engaging training content for instructor-led, virtual, and online formats.
- Ensure training materials align with University Housing and Dining values, policies, and strategic priorities.
- Facilitate high quality training sessions and workshops.
- Lead and conduct comprehensive needs assessments to inform training design, delivery methods, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate existing training programs and collaborate with the Senior Training Coordinator to identify enhancements aligned with evolving organizational needs.
- Collaborate closely with Employee Development and Engagement team members to ensure training initiatives align with employee engagement, wellness, adult education, and organizational goals.
- Coach staff serving as trainers or presenters on facilitation methods and adult learning principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years’ experience in the field of assignment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
- 5 or more years of experience in instructional design, training facilitation, or organizational development (preferred)
- Experience with learning management systems, such as Cornerstone (preferred)
- Experience with eLearning products, such as Articulate (preferred)
- Experience with adult learning theory and effective training practices (preferred)
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
