About the role

  • Design, implement, and deploy modern web applications and backend APIs/microservices
  • Maintain and support services in high-traffic production environments in the AWS cloud
  • Collaborate with Product owners and lead engineers to help architect solutions
  • Analyze, design, develop, test and deploy full stack AWS Cloud solutions
  • Create technical documentation such as flow diagrams, design specs etc
  • Deliver new software features by developing infrastructure-as-code (CDK) and scripting of automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement observability solutions to log, monitor, and analyze system health
  • Identify opportunities for improving application functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver code that uses best practices and design patterns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in professional software development
  • Minimum 3-5 years of strong Full stack development experience in React, Typescript and Node.js
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience developing solutions with AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch and more
  • Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Capable of analyzing, planning, designing, and owning complex or vaguely defined issues with little or no supervision
  • Collaborative attitude that incorporates various perspectives
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical peers
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Java (nice to have)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and/or CloudFormation (nice to have)
  • Automation using Playwright (nice to have)
