About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responding to routine and urgent maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing general maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to building systems, suites, and common areas
  • Support the ongoing upkeep and safe operation of property amenities, fixtures, and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and repairs
  • Assist with seasonal property operations, including snow removal
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe
  • Work collaboratively with site staff, management, and external vendors as required
  • Adhere to all workplace health & safety policies and report safety hazards to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working knowledge and professional experience in a wide variety of residential maintenance and light renovation tasks
  • General understanding of residential building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and heating systems
  • Experience in performing basic appliance and fixture repairs is considered a strong asset
  • Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Valid, class G driver’s license, access to personal vehicle, and clean drivers abstract
  • Must have tools necessary to complete basic maintenance tasks.
