Analyst

• Provide subject matter expertise to communities preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disaster events to effectively plan for the use of grant resources and ensure compliance with funding requirements
• Conduct direct technical assistance and capacity building, develop and conduct training sessions, and develop tools and products
• Apply theoretical and practical program design knowledge to support meeting clients’ goals and objectives
• Work directly with project teams to define the scope, schedule, and budget of technical assistance engagements that work to support communities in designing and implementing the use of disaster recovery programs
• Manage projects to ensure budgets and timelines are met and work streams are executed effectively
• Ensure effective communications among the team and with the client to provide support and direction to project teams, monitor and report on progress, and implement and manage change when necessary to meet project deliverables
• Coach and support junior staff on project elements and management processes
• Other duties as assigned, dependent on organizational needs and employee skills, including limited travel
