About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end Individual Dental business operations, ensuring operational readiness, execution excellence, and strong customer outcomes
  • Oversee enrollment, billing, claims, provider operations, customer service, and other core operational functions
  • Drive customer experience strategies to improve satisfaction, retention, service quality, and efficiency
  • Establish governance, performance metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement programs
  • Manage strategic vendor relationships and ensure performance, compliance, quality, and financial objectives
  • Lead business portfolios, transformation initiatives, and PMO activities, including project governance, change management, and implementation readiness
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit controls
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Operations on product launches, system implementations, market growth, and enterprise priorities
  • Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer focus

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, customer service, program management, business transformation, or related disciplines
  • Proven success leading large-scale operations in highly regulated environments
  • Experience in operational governance, vendor management, customer operations, strategic execution, and process improvement
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, financial, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation and deliver results in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Experience leading dental, health insurance, or other regulated healthcare operations
  • Experience managing large-scale customer service, claims, enrollment, billing, or provider operations
  • Strong background in operational excellence, Lean Six Sigma, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience overseeing strategic vendor partnerships and outsourced operations
  • Experience leading enterprise transformation, digital modernization, and customer experience initiatives
  • Experience managing operating budgets, forecasting, and business case development
  • Expertise in governance, risk management, compliance, and regulatory readiness
  • Track record of building and developing high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Must use a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload when working from home
