About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the end-to-end provider experience and service delivery for an assigned medium- to low-complexity book of business
Collaborate with local-market and matrix partners to improve the provider experience
Create and maintain provider strategic action plans
Identify provider opportunities and risks and drive resolution
Capture, document, and share market intelligence to drive strategic improvements
Serve as an external-facing provider account manager and advocate
Collect, analyze, interpret, translate, and distribute provider informatics, reports, and dashboards
Track and monitor performance guarantees for the assigned book of business
Promote Provider Index score improvement through proactive service and support
Review provider reports and dashboards
Educate providers on Cigna's business objectives, procedures, policies, and programs
Serve as a consultative subject matter expert to matrix partners
Develop and participate in presentations to providers and/or clients
Represent Cigna in the external community, medical societies, and provider associations
Manage joint operating committees, including agendas, facilitation, participation, and follow-up

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of provider relations experience highly preferred
Claims administration experience highly preferred
Root cause analysis experience with claims issues highly preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, highly preferred
Solid Excel experience, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, highly preferred
Knowledge of Proclaim, Facets, and PWB preferred
Understanding of medical insurance products and associated provider issues highly preferred
Ability to lead cross-functional partners toward a common goal
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment
Travel may be required, up to 25%
For home working, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required
