About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced infusion therapy in home, clinic, hospital, and virtual settings for cardiopulmonary conditions including PAH and other rare and chronic diseases
- Educate patients and caregivers to manage therapy and recognize potential side effects
- Coordinate with PAH specialty centers, prescribers, and care teams to ensure seamless treatment
- Serve as a clinical resource for providers and patients throughout the therapy journey
- Build long-term patient relationships through compassionate, expert care and clear communication
- Support quality outcomes and responsible growth through collaborative care discussions
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support patient care needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Florida
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including intensive care or pulmonary/cardiac specialty care
- Experience caring for PAH or CTEPH patients
- Strong infusion therapy skills, including excellent IV insertion skills
- Patient education experience
- BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to patient locations
- Strong communication skills with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Participation in an on-call rotation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Home infusion or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
- CRNI or other relevant nursing certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- For home work, cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
