About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide onsite face-to-face customer coaching and support
Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities
Refer customers to Cigna clinical programs or client-specific programs as clinically appropriate
Establish health improvement plans, personalized evidence-based goals, and support customers in achieving them
Empower customers to actively participate in their health outcomes
Assist customers in overcoming barriers to better health
Lead and support group coaching, wellness challenges, and health-related seminars
Perform biometric screenings, including finger sticks, blood pressure, and body composition measurements
Use biometric values and motivational interviewing to improve clinical outcomes
Support health-related site events, including open enrollment, wellness committee facilitation, flu shot events, and health fairs
Collaborate with matrix partners to support the aligned client’s health and wellness strategy
Develop action plans that drive clinical value for customers and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active and unrestricted RN license in the respective state, with ability to maintain active licensure
At least 3 years of experience in the health and wellness field
At least 1 year of health coaching or health education experience
Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED certification
Strong clinical skills
Dynamic presentation skills
Ability to work independently
Customer-centric focus
Ability to collaborate professionally with clients and matrix partners
Ability to manage clinical targets and outcome measurements
Proven administrative abilities
Strong computer and software application skills
Background check, drug screen, and nicotine screen required for employment
Chronic disease management experience is a bonus
Motivational interviewing training or experience is a bonus
Smoking cessation and diabetes experience are bonuses
