About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a high-impact actuarial or analytical project aligned to real business needs and actuarial or strategic priorities
- Analyze data to uncover insights supporting pricing, forecasting, reserving, or strategic initiatives
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to actuarial and business stakeholders
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems and learn how actuarial work influences business decisions
- Collaborate with peers and mentors across teams and locations
- Develop technical, professional, and leadership skills through training, feedback, and hands-on experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently progressing toward a bachelor’s degree and completed at least two years
- Preferred major in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or data analytics
- Minimum 3.2 GPA
- Ability to use data to solve real-world problems, evaluate trade-offs, and connect analysis to business impact
- Understanding of business and financial fundamentals
- Comfort working with data and modern analytical tools
- Strong Excel skills
- Exposure to Python, R, SQL, AI-enabled tools, or other emerging technologies
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across teams
- Early leadership potential, ownership, strategic thinking, innovation, and ability to influence outcomes in changing or ambiguous environments
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam preferred
- Eligible for employment in the United States without requiring visa support, including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, now or in the future
- Availability in the United States to complete a mandatory drug test approximately 45 days before the program start date
