About the role

  • Manages a team of new initiative product owners, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and talent assessments
  • Trains the team on how to partner with key stakeholders to clarify and refine business requirements in partnership with business sponsors, Solution Architects and Capability Business Product Owners
  • Fosters a culture of emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and passion/drive individually and collectively
  • Intervenes on escalations from your team to guide discussions with cross-functional teams to ensure business intent is accurately captured into technical design
  • Innovates to improve team member and organizational effectiveness while managing their team’s health
  • Allocates people to projects thoughtfully to meet business stakeholder needs, product area strengths and business priorities
  • Promotes collaboration across cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Sets clear goals and expectations, monitor progress, and provide feedback to support career growth
  • Helps to determine project prioritization and remove obstacles from your initiative BPOs projects
  • Acts as a strategic liaison among business sponsors, architects and capability business product owners ensuring smooth management of stakeholder relationships and business requirements
  • Develops deep relationships with key business stakeholders that your team will interact with daily
  • Communicates progress and updates regularly to stakeholders when needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in relationship management, product ownership, or architecture
  • Prior experience managing direct reports or leading teams preferred
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of agile methodology and tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Demonstrated business, technical, and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and comfort with ambiguity
