About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow a defined book of business by supporting client retention, satisfaction, and pharmacy performance outcomes.
- Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, clients, brokers, and consultants.
- Partner with medical sales teams to execute retention and growth strategies aligned to client goals.
- Lead client presentations and meetings, communicating performance results and recommending pharmacy solutions.
- Identify and advance opportunities to expand pharmacy programs and increase overall value to the client.
- Support pricing, competitive intelligence, and carve-out defense strategies to retain and grow accounts.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure effective service delivery and consistent client communication.
- Analyze pharmacy utilization and trends to provide consultative insights and recommendations.
- Support RFPs, finalist presentations, and implementation activities for new and existing business.
- Act as an escalation point for pharmacy-related client issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of PBM or pharmacy-related experience supporting client accounts.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit management and healthcare operations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable client recommendations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to travel up to 30% based on business needs.
