About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages an assigned book of pharmacy business with accountability for profitable growth, persistency, and earnings performance.
- Conducts case-specific risk assessments and develops account-level pricing strategies.
- Leads rate development and customer negotiations in collaboration with Sales for complex pharmacy accounts.
- Develops, executes, and monitors account plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Analyzes market trends and competitive dynamics to deliver strategic recommendations on pricing and product positioning.
- Influences underwriting best practices and provides consultative input to matrix partners on product development and pricing strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 + years of experience in Pharmacy Underwriting or related fields
- Experience working with large datasets and applying data-driven insights to business decisions.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions with a strong understanding of internal and external financial implications
- Experience using SQL, reporting tools, or other analytical platforms to support pricing and underwriting decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required
- In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, competitive conditions, and pricing drivers
