About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the competitive intelligence (CI) function across The Cigna Group
Manage the collection, organization, and analysis of competitive and market data
Translate insights into actionable, executive-ready intelligence
Lead CI research and analysis focused on health system, hospital, and provider-owned organization strategies
Analyze health system market dynamics and competitive positioning
Support internal stakeholders with targeted intelligence on health system needs
Partner cross-functionally with various teams to align intelligence outputs
Own end-to-end intelligence cycles
Conduct dissemination, analysis, and ad hoc modeling of competitor and health system financial information
Leverage AI and Copilot tools for provider-market research

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, market insights, or a related field (healthcare experience required)
Bachelor's degree highly preferred; Master’s degree a plus
Demonstrated expertise using AI, Copilot, and advanced analytics tools to accelerate research, automate workflows, enhance synthesis, and scale intelligence outputs
Experience designing or operating AI-enabled research processes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Familiarity with financial statements and provider economics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization
