About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own, develop, prioritize, and maintain a healthy product backlog of features and user stories
- Partner with business and clinical stakeholders to deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Lead user story refinement sessions and ensure business value remains the top priority
- Support development teams by creating actionable requirements and identifying or removing blockers
- Provide servant leadership and promote continuous improvement within Agile teams
- Coordinate team efforts to maximize productivity, delivery speed, and business value
- Review and accept completed user stories to ensure they meet defined acceptance criteria
- Validate work with business stakeholders to confirm requirements and expected outcomes are achieved
- Partner with Application Development Managers on quality assurance activities and release planning
- Coordinate release activities, including release notes, communications, user documentation, and reporting
- Facilitate sprint reviews, Agile demonstrations, and stakeholder meetings
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on complex provider and clinical experience initiatives
- Serve as a trusted resource for questions related to the provider experience and customer-facing applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of experience in product ownership, clinical product management, business ownership, or a related field
- Strong product management experience with a proven ability to lead Agile and SDLC initiatives to successful delivery
- Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira and Smartsheet
- Ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to build credibility and strong working relationships across business and technical teams
- Comfortable leading discussions with large stakeholder groups, including senior leaders
- Agile certifications are preferred but not required
- Healthcare utilization management (UM) experience is preferred but not required
