Senior Growth Consultant, Commercial

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support health plans commercial employer business through all aspects of the sales process
- Partner with assigned client to assist in their overall medical & pharmacy sales strategy
- Engage local brokers, consultants, and prospective clients
- Develop overall sales strategy with sales and pharmacy executives at health plan client
- Gather, analyze, and disseminate market competitive intelligence
- Day-to-day contact to support overall strategy and initiatives
- Daily engagement with health plan medical/pharmacy & sales executives
- Build and maintain strong broker/consultant relationships
- Create and execute action plan for each opportunity
- Manage pharmacy sales bid process including kick off meeting, bid responses, and overall RFP evaluation
- Conduct analysis for key opportunities
- Assist with finalist preparation and participation
- Review and deliver Rx reporting package discussing trend drivers and recommended solutions
- Maintain complete knowledge of the Health Plan contract
- Track/Analyze Sales Force documentation of meetings and opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of healthcare consulting industry dynamics
- Medical network evaluations and analysis
- Knowledge of the TPA medical model
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- 10+ years of sales/business development experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience communicating with VP and C-level contacts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool
- Ability to compile, analyze, and report on common sales metrics
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strategic business decision-making experience
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of the healthcare and PBM industry required
- Strong focus on book of business client satisfaction and client retention results
- Demonstrated strong project management ability
- Ability to travel overnight up to 15%.
