Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team supporting the Reinsurance unit
Manage direct reports who analyze data, assess risk, and prepare financial reporting
Develop estimates for financial reporting, forecasting, and ongoing business monitoring
Prepare and present reports and other deliverables that communicate results, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Conduct scenario testing, risk assessments, and analytical reviews to support financial analysis and business decision-making
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external partners to support operational initiatives and resolve business issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
Lead the development and enhancement of actuarial models used for reserving, forecasting, and business analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field
6+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience
Querying data using SQL code
Analyzing data using R
Advanced Excel experience
Associate of the Society of Actuaries required
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries preferred
