About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and deliver enterprise-scale, cloud-native data pipelines and curated datasets that support complex business, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Engineer secure, auditable, and defensible data extracts to support high-risk legal, litigation, and compliance use cases.
Build and maintain scalable ELT and ETL workflows across enterprise and cloud analytics platforms to support batch and large-scale processing.
Partner closely with Legal, Market Analytics, Enterprise Technology, and Data Engineering teams to translate complex data requests into reliable technical solutions.
Establish and champion best practices in data engineering, including automation, testing, monitoring, documentation, and governance.
Ensure appropriate data security, lineage, retention, and chain-of-custody controls for sensitive legal and regulatory datasets.
Act as a senior escalation point for complex data engineering, platform, and risk-related challenges.
Contribute to enterprise data modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to cloud-based analytics environments.
Lead through influence by setting standards, improving processes, and enabling repeatable, production-ready data frameworks.
Provide informal mentorship and technical guidance to analysts and partner teams as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or advanced analytics roles.
Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
Strong hands-on expertise with Teradata, Python, SQL, Databricks, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
Prior PBM/PBS experience and/or knowledge.
Proven experience building secure, auditable data pipelines supporting legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and documentation practices.
Ability to operate independently on complex, ambiguous, and high-risk initiatives.
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
