Key responsibilities & impact

assist in managing, implementing and growing the Virtual Primary Care service line
participate in Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI), Patient Safety Council, clinical program development and lead committees as directed
provide consultation to MDLIVE Providers and other staff on clinical standards, practice, competency, and productivity
maintain 30% time spent in direct patient care/clinical practice
develop and maintain priority needs for direct care services, serving as 'doctor of the day'

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD or DO
Board Certification in Primary Care specialty, e.g., Family Medicine, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine
3+ years experience post residency working in the field, with aspects of both clinical care and administrative duties
