About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • assist in managing, implementing and growing the Virtual Primary Care service line
  • participate in Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI), Patient Safety Council, clinical program development and lead committees as directed
  • provide consultation to MDLIVE Providers and other staff on clinical standards, practice, competency, and productivity
  • maintain 30% time spent in direct patient care/clinical practice
  • develop and maintain priority needs for direct care services, serving as 'doctor of the day'

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certification in Primary Care specialty, e.g., Family Medicine, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine
  • 3+ years experience post residency working in the field, with aspects of both clinical care and administrative duties
