About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute pricing strategies and underwrite solutions that support client retention and growth while meeting profitability targets.
- Lead complex financial, quantitative, and cost modeling analyses across multiple lines of business, including Commercial Employer Groups, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Health Care Exchange.
- Provide consultative plan design recommendations by analyzing historical performance, identifying trend drivers, and modeling future opportunities.
- Partner with Sales and Account Management to evaluate renewal and new business opportunities, including preparation of pricing, product positioning, and financial components of RFP responses.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external clients, including executive-level audiences.
- Support senior leadership by analyzing margin performance, profitability drivers, and financial risks to inform business decisions.
- Oversee client contract financial setup and ongoing management to ensure compliance with pricing guarantees and contractual terms.
- Continuously enhance financial models, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client support outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum one year of professional experience in financial analysis, underwriting, pricing, or a related quantitative role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to build and interpret financial and cost models.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with standard business and analytical tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (preferred).
- Experience within healthcare, managed care, pharmacy benefit management, or pharmaceutical environments (preferred).
- Experience supporting client negotiations, pricing discussions, or executive-level presentations (preferred).
- Advanced financial modeling or analytical tool experience (preferred).
