About the role
- Define and lead a unified, audience‑centric messaging strategy
- Develop differentiated messaging frameworks and narrative architectures
- Translate complex capabilities and competitive insights into accessible stories
- Build cross‑functional alignment ensuring consistent narrative threads
- Establish integrated planning processes and master calendars
- Serve as the center of gravity for the end‑to‑end messaging lifecycle
- Partner to evolve content production models, workflows, and governance
- Lead a cross‑functional Messaging Council to align priorities
- Build measurement capabilities to assess messaging effectiveness
- Develop and lead a high‑performing messaging team
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of B2B marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- Demonstrated success building messaging frameworks and value propositions
- Strong understanding of B2B buyer behavior and audience segmentation
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives
- Experience establishing messaging governance and performance measurement frameworks
- Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills
- Familiarity with content management platforms and analytics solutions
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
- Ability to work from a Cigna Group office 3 days a week, if applicable
