About the role
- Manage and resolve open and unresolved claims and accounts receivable issues
- Proactively monitor AR performance, SLAs, and trends; communicate results to account teams
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans
- Partner with internal teams and external National Ancillary partners to improve claims performance and service quality
- Serve as a claims subject matter expert in meetings and presentations
- Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in claims administration, benefits operations, and/or relationship or project management
- Strong knowledge of claims processing, root cause analysis, and service improvement
- Advanced knowledge of Cigna claims platforms (e.g., SANP, OneView, Benefit Access)
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables); advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Some travel required
