About the role
- Negotiate SCAs with behavioral health facilities and providers to address urgent or unique member needs
- Establish and maintain provider relationships that support Evernorth’s national network strategy and fill identified network gaps
- Initiate and sustain effective communication channels with matrix partners, including Claims Operations, Clinical Operations, Provider Relations, Behavioral Finance, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing
- Analyze financial and operational impact of proposed agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cost containment strategies
- Draft and finalize contracting agreements that align with internal operational standards and meet external provider expectations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Preferably in provider contracting, network development, or behavioral health operations
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to assess complex scenarios and develop strategic solutions
- Ability to manage high volumes of requests with attention to detail and timeliness
- Excellent communication skills- written, verbal, and presentation
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of policy/procedures, behavioral operations and supporting operating systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
