About the role
- provide legal and regulatory advice related to state insurance laws
- intake, assess, document, and monitor new laws and regulations
- support market conduct examinations and regulatory inquiries
- draft regulatory summaries and communicate impacts to internal committees
- conduct legal research and prepare summaries of findings
Requirements
- JD; bar membership
- 2+ years of experience in health insurance industry including prior health insurance legal experience
- strong legal research and analytical skills
- legal drafting experience
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
