About the role
- Help patients access financial resources by coordinating programs
- Support reimbursement activities and resolve billing-related issues
- Ensure accurate claims processing and compliant documentation
- Identify billing trends and address issues for timely reimbursement
- Review unpaid claims and take necessary steps for resolution
- Maintain confidentiality of patient financial information
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years of experience in medical billing, collections, or related healthcare financial roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret billing codes and documentation
- Experience processing pharmacy claims
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy
