About the role

  • Serve as the face of Cigna Healthcare, engaging directly with client leadership teams, brokers, and consultants
  • Lead enterprise client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to decision-makers and influencers
  • Negotiate complex deals, manage renewals, and expand client and broker partnerships through new product offerings
  • Understand clients’ businesses and industries, offering tailored recommendations and market insights
  • Drive growth, earnings and retention across client portfolio; meet targets for new business and renewals
  • Cross-sell additional products and services to expand relationships
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting teams to ensure alignment and deliver tailored strategic solutions
  • Oversee client service requests and ensure seamless execution and swift resolution by directing to appropriate teams
  • Manage key partner/channel relationships and hold internal partners accountable to client budgets and success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in health benefits or client management
  • Active State of Texas Life and Health Insurance license required
  • Strong communication, sales negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships, particularly with large, complex accounts
  • Experience in sales, marketing, underwriting, or operations is preferred
  • Financial acumen and understanding of underwriting
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex client accounts focused on relationship-building and revenue growth
  • If working from home occasionally or permanently, internet connection via cable broadband or fiber with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
