About the role

  • Provide end-to-end project management for initiatives from inception through execution and implementation ensuring project objectives are achieved
  • Direct planning and execution of project activities optimizing delivery of portfolio projects to enable enterprise strategy
  • Lead enterprise projects end to end using best practices and disciplines across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
  • Partner with cross-organizational areas (Clinical, Product, Go-To-Market/Sales, Pricing, Underwriting, Digital, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Finance, Evernorth, Service Operations, Technology, Quality Engineering, Legal, Compliance) to deliver complex, cross-functional projects
  • Build and manage detailed project plans with key milestones, priorities, dependencies and sequencing from inception to closure
  • Identify, track, mitigate and escalate project risks, issues, and decisions; develop contingency plans and triggers
  • Drive to-market delivery timelines while adapting to a dynamic environment; set priorities to support organizational performance
  • Provide transparent and accurate project status reporting aligned with stakeholder and sponsor input
  • Provide leadership, management guidance, oversight and guidance to less experienced project managers
  • Contribute to project delivery best practices and governance; provide feedback into Core Solutions operating model to improve effectiveness
  • Ensure technical, sales, and operational readiness components are tracked; serve as Operational Readiness lead when required
  • Monitor and control project execution to ensure scope, quality, schedule, and cost requirements are met

Requirements

  • 8+ years of project management experience leading medium and large cross functional initiatives
  • Exemplary core project management skills including multiple aspects of the PMBOK and the Scaled Agile Framework (certification a plus)
  • Working knowledge of the Commercial Healthcare landscape required
  • Ability to lead, manage and influence teams in a heavily matrixed environment
  • Strong oral, written, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration & relationship building skills
  • Self-directed and capable of overseeing a team to ensure successful delivery
  • Quickly comes up to speed on business and project knowledge
  • Process-oriented with quality mindset
