About the role

  • Two-year Technology Development Program (TECDP) – Artificial Intelligence track at The Cigna Group
  • Build generative AI and machine learning solutions to personalize care, automate processes, and improve digital health
  • Develop algorithms, code generation workflows, and intelligent systems that learn and adapt
  • Gain hands-on experience through rotations, mentorship, and a structured technical and leadership curriculum
  • Collaborate across functions, participate in community-building, recruiting, and innovation initiatives
  • Hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at assigned U.S. office at least 3 days per week

Requirements

  • Completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical program at time of hire
  • Preferred degrees: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering (Math/Statistics considered with coding experience and Code Generation exposure)
  • Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, R, and AI/ML frameworks
  • Experience using Generative AI tools (Copilot, GitHub, Cursor, or similar)
  • Academic coursework, research, or internships in ML, NLP, computer vision, or generative AI
  • Interest in ethical AI, responsible innovation, and human-centered design
  • Leadership or involvement in clubs, hackathons, AI challenges, or research symposiums
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaboration, critical thinking, curiosity, growth mindset, and strength-based leadership
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (no H-1B, CPT/OPT/STEM, etc.)
  • Available to work a 40-hour work week beginning July 13, 2026
