About the role
- Responsible for Data Governance and Validation ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data
- Define guidelines for data accuracy, completeness, consistency and format across all data sources
- Implement procedures to detect and clean inconsistencies, duplicates, and other data quality problems
- Develop and enforce policies related to data access, usage and retention
- Continuously monitor data quality metrics
- Generate reports and visualizations to identify issues and track improvements
- Document data lineage
- Educate Forsyth data users on data governance policies and best practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of healthcare experience in data governance, data validation or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in data management tools and platforms, including SQL, Python and/or Databricks
- Prior people leadership experience strongly preferred (role will have direct reports)
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
