About the role

  • Own the operational invoicing and reconciliation activities for the IRA MTF program
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the program and serve as the primary point of contact regarding Pharmacy reimbursement invoicing to CMS
  • Support the end-to-end IRA MTF invoicing process: setup, invoicing, payment application, variance resolution
  • Perform a validation review to confirm setup changes were implemented accurately by other team members
  • Apply a subject matter expert knowledge base under minimal supervision to ensure appropriate assessment and action steps taken to ensure successful outcome of identified variances
  • Stay current on regulatory and industry changes related to IRA MTF, CMS guidelines, and pharmaceutical manufacturer requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support current and future business initiatives
  • Manage day-to-day prioritization, workload distribution, and issue escalation
  • Engage in special projects and process improvements
  • Conduct ongoing review of policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as deemed essential by business to support current and future projects

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and collect reports
  • Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions
  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong business, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
  • Knowledge of PBM and healthcare industry preferred
  • Ability to organize and plan multiple projects
  • Ability to demonstrate self-initiative, work cross functionally to resolve issues as they occur
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
