About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare blog articles for translation in over 20 languages
  • Publish translations and original-language content using the Brightspot CMS
  • Identify articles with strong translation potential and manage translation requests
  • Send, track, and manage translations using the CMS, Monday.com, and other programs
  • Review and edit English articles for international relevance and optimization
  • Train international staff on SEO and editorial best practices
  • Request feedback from international staff and support their publishing priorities
  • Prepare translations for publication by checking layout, missing content, and other errors
  • Facilitate content through the Brightspot publishing process
  • Find images and create translated screenshots for blog and newsroom content
  • Support international content strategy campaigns and initiatives
  • Perform content analytics and optimizations
  • Potentially manage international blog comments
  • Conduct international keyword research for SEO
  • Maintain documentation and filing systems for workflow and reporting
  • Assist with writing, editing, and other international content strategy projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluency in at least one foreign language preferred
  • Genuine interest in international content strategy and languages
  • Translation experience or training is a plus
  • Strong people, organization, and project management skills
  • Experience with a CMS such as Brightspot or WordPress is a bonus
  • Experience using translation software may be helpful
  • Bachelor’s degree or near completion in Translation, Languages, International Relations, Translation Management, Communications, Marketing, Editing, Publishing, Journalism, or a related field
  • Must be a current or recent student, within one year
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
