Member Communication Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Craft audience-focused content strategies that connect organizational priorities with the needs of God’s children. You’ll partner with stakeholders to identify meaningful outcomes, clarify communication objectives, and guide content efforts toward experiences that inspire faith and action. Working across channels and teams, you’ll help ensure content is aligned, coordinated, measurable, and designed to help individuals come closer to the Savior.
- Help organizations move from good intentions to meaningful audience outcomes. You’ll identify audience needs through research, stakeholder conversations, and jobs-to-be-done analysis, translating insights into strategic communication approaches that support organizational objectives. Working with leaders, product managers, and channel managers, you’ll develop communication and awareness plans that guide implementation across channels, ensuring messages reach the right audiences at the right time in ways that inspire understanding, engagement, and action.
- Lead the development of audience-focused omnichannel strategies that amplify the message of the restored gospel. You'll partner with product and channel managers to set inspired Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), oversee flawless implementation, and refine approaches based on performance indicators. We believe that when we communicate with clarity and power, we can help bring souls unto Christ.
- Review campaign content with a discerning eye before it advances for final reviews. You'll ensure every piece meets campaign objectives while respecting the channel expertise of your colleagues. Your work will be about finding the perfect balance in strategic vision and creative execution.
- Ensure channel planning stays true to our vision, priorities, and desired outcomes across all audience-related channels. When you spot potential misalignment, you'll collaborate with senior leadership to course-correct with precision and care.
- Break down silos by working closely with audience-related program managers, channel managers, and product managers. You'll facilitate connections, remove obstacles, and nurture an environment of open communication and mutual trust where both personal and professional growth can flourish.
- Partner with product management to develop and launch meaningful audience-focused channels. You'll craft omnichannel strategies alongside the Content Strategy and Channels Teams and define what success looks like. Working with our Continuous Improvement Team, you'll identify and implement process refinements that elevate multiple channels simultaneously.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with advising leaders, cross-divisional partners, and enterprise collaborators that are built on mutual respect, clear communication, and shared success.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience: Eight years of related work experience, including creating a combination of inspired content across print, web, mobile, video, social, podcast and email platforms to reach God's children wherever they may be
- Expertise: Professional experience with omni-channel and multichannel publishing in digital and print—tools the Lord has provided in this dispensation to share His message.
- Skills: In-depth understanding of content strategy and content marketing principles, with the ability to analyze data and refine strategies to better reach hearts and minds.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills that convey the Spirit and speak with clarity and conviction.
- Problem-Solving: Initiative and critical visual thinking with sound judgment guided by spiritual discernment.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with fellow coworkers, inspire excellence, mediate differences with love, and mentor teams in the Lord's way.
- Leadership: Team leadership skills and oversight of large projects that advance the kingdom of God on earth.
- Presentation: Ability to work with and present to senior leaders with confidence and spiritual preparation.
- Global Audience: Strong understanding of and experience working with global audiences across diverse cultures—recognizing that the gospel message is for all of God's children.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential functions of the job, including sitting for long periods and using computer monitors/equipment.
