Counselor
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day SaintsProvide high-quality consultation and counseling to ecclesiastical leaders in a professional setting. Support community resource development and assist other staff while upholding a clinical practice.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide the highest quality of consultation to ecclesiastical leaders.
- Direct counseling services and community resource development.
- Support to other staff members.
- Serve as area specialist, participate in area trainings, participate on headquarters committees, etc.
- Administration of support programs such as Addiction Recovery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in social work (clinical), Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related degree that leads to clinical licensure.
- Minimum of five (5) years post masters' professional experience including Two (2) years post independent licensure.
- Advanced clinical skills and receptiveness to feedback.
- Skilled at facilitating skills/treatment groups.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision of other team members, including those pursuing clinical licensure.
- Professionalism with great attention to quality and timely notes, consultation, and terminations.
- Refined consultation skills.
- Fulfill assignments from agency and area managers.
- Hold and maintain current independent clinical license (MSW-clinical, Registered Psychologist, Registered Psychotherapist, or similar clinical licensure).
