About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate Spanish translation and localization projects with the Manager of Language Localization.
Review and localize English source materials into institutionally aligned Spanish for diverse international audiences.
Ensure consistency with approved glossaries, style guides, terminology standards, and localization workflows.
Create and review spreadsheets.
Create and review videos.
Collaborate with translators, reviewers, faculty, communications teams, and stakeholders across departments.
Support quality assurance (QA) processes for translated content, websites, emails, LMS platforms, and student communications.
Assist in developing scalable multilingual systems and localization best practices.
Review Spanish content for linguistic quality, doctrinal accuracy, cultural relevance, accessibility, and user experience.
Help maintain translation memories, terminology databases, AI-assisted workflows, and localization documentation.
Participate in localization governance initiatives and enterprise-wide multilingual strategy planning.
Support localization efforts for platforms such as Canvas, BrightSpot, student portals, and institutional communications.
Assist in training reviewers and contributors on localization standards and workflows.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability in multilingual production.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native-level fluency in Spanish.
Professional fluency in English.
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Education, Communications, Localization, or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience in translation, localization, multilingual communications, or language operations.
Strong understanding of grammar, style, tone, and localization best practices.
Experience reviewing and editing translated content.
Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
