About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides senior level administrative support to the managing director and the directors of the trust and operations teams.
  • Performs a wide variety of advanced and confidential executive assistant tasks.
  • Provides primary administrative support for Deseret Trust Company’s board of trustees and related governing committee work.
  • Works under minimal supervision and handles complex issues using broad experience and initiative.
  • Administers charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, donor advised funds, and other charitable giving accounts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years related experience, or any combination of equivalent education and related experience totaling at least 7 years
  • Comprehensive administrative support working knowledge
  • Broad knowledge of the organization's structure, functions, and key personnel
  • Working knowledge of Church doctrine, policies, and procedures
  • Key Skills include the ability to:
  • Communicate professionally at an advanced level in writing and verbally.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other software at an advanced level to schedule appointments, create and perform analysis on spreadsheets, prepare presentations, take notes and minutes, and create and update word documents.
  • Provide advanced research, analytical, and data summation support with an excellent level of attention to detail.
  • Take standard processes and procedures and adapt to address complex problems and find less obvious solutions.
  • Interact and work with others at an advanced level and in a productive and professional way.
  • Work with sensitive and highly confidential information.
  • Operate and maintain standard office equipment.
  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time, moving about the office to deliver mail and other items, and using computer monitors/equipment.
  • Preferred
  • Current Notary Public or willingness to obtain certification
  • Previous experience supporting executive level leaders, including board support.
  • Familiarity with Excel macros, Power Automate, and Power BI is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to use artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
  • Willingness to become a notary public.
