About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Priesthood and Family Department in helping God’s children joyfully live the gospel.
  • Provide analysis, research, writing, and editing support for various Church products.
  • Create communications for children, youth, adults, and families.
  • Consult with partners to analyze and create policy for the global Church.
  • Participate in ad hoc committees to research and make recommendations.
  • Work with product managers in the creation of communications and documents.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in English or related field and 8 years of professional experience. Masters degree preferred.
  • Sound understanding of Church organization, doctrine, policy, and practice.
  • Experience in articulating the vision and strategy of senior leadership.
  • Ability to give polished presentations to executive leaders.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to a global Church audience.
  • Skill in editing best practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple divisions and departments.
  • Demonstrates organizational, analytical, research, prioritization, and planning skills.
