Writer 3 – Priesthood and Family Department
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day SaintsWriter assisting the Priesthood and Family Department in communications for Church products. Responsible for providing writing, research, and editing support for global audiences.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Priesthood and Family Department in helping God’s children joyfully live the gospel.
- Provide analysis, research, writing, and editing support for various Church products.
- Create communications for children, youth, adults, and families.
- Consult with partners to analyze and create policy for the global Church.
- Participate in ad hoc committees to research and make recommendations.
- Work with product managers in the creation of communications and documents.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field and 8 years of professional experience. Masters degree preferred.
- Sound understanding of Church organization, doctrine, policy, and practice.
- Experience in articulating the vision and strategy of senior leadership.
- Ability to give polished presentations to executive leaders.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to a global Church audience.
- Skill in editing best practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Experience collaborating across multiple divisions and departments.
- Demonstrates organizational, analytical, research, prioritization, and planning skills.
