About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product outcomes in technically complex areas of the product
- Partner closely with engineering and design to lead discovery and delivery
- Develop a solid understanding of how the product works end‑to‑end
- Assess technical tradeoffs
- Help the team make informed decisions that balance user outcomes, scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Independently drive problem definition
- Clarify requirements at the appropriate level
- Use data, experimentation, and customer insight to validate decisions
- Collaborate effectively with engineers
- Communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Contribute to improving how the team builds and operates products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
- Five years of relevant professional experience
- Communication – Strong verbal and written communicator who conveys ideas clearly to all stakeholders
- Collaboration – Effective collaborator who listens respectfully, understands empathetically, and brings unity
- Creativity – Ability to appropriately address customer needs and business problems
- Organization – Organized and driven by repeatable system and set of work practices
- Leadership/Influencer – Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Customer Understanding – Experience handling a variety of customer needs in technical environments.
- Product Lifecycle/Planning – Experience in Agile and Scrum environments including: methods, tools, systems and application.
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment
- Preferred:
- Experience with network infrastructure product (e.g., DDI, OSI Layer 1, VXLAN, EVGP, MPLS)
- Master’s Degree
