About the role

  • EnglishConnect seeks creative Video Production Intern for Fall 2025 to support design, storyboarding, and production of videos for a global audience.
  • Storyboard Videos: Develop visual outlines for educational and promotional content.
  • Video Editing: Create rough cuts and finalize videos using professional editing software.
  • Production Support: Assist with filming and shooting including basic camera, lighting, and sound setup.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work with the EnglishConnect team to brainstorm and refine engaging video concepts.
  • Organization: Manage project files, media assets, and deadlines to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Full-time schedule (Monday – Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM); monthly in-person meetings in Salt Lake City.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Utah or Idaho and be able to attend monthly in-person meetings in Salt Lake City.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship.
  • Currently enrolled in school or have graduated within the last 12 months.
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
  • Preferred: Current undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate within the past 12 months) in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Preferred: Familiarity with filming techniques, including lighting and sound.
  • Preferred: Strong creative storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Preferred: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferred: Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
