Regulatory Compliance Officer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the effective operation of the Church Commissioners’ compliance arrangements
- Lead on the coordination of Serious Incident Reporting to the Charity Commission
- Manage the day‑to‑day maintenance of the Church Commissioners’ compliance documents and records
- Foster strong working relationships with counterparts in other NCIs
- Contribute to the preparation of compliance reporting for trustees, committees and senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant senior‑level experience of leading structured engagement across complex organisational and governance environments
- Strong political and relational awareness
- Advanced facilitation and engagement skills
- Clear, compelling written and verbal communication tailored to governance bodies
- Ability to manage complex activity across multiple workstreams
- Integrity, impartiality and consistently sound judgement
- Experience of working within the Church of England or a comparable values‑led organisation is advantageous
