HR Policy Officer
The Church of EnglandMinistry HR Policy Officer collaborating with stakeholders to support ministerial terms of service for the Church of England. Engaging in policy development and research for the Ministry Development Team.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the collaborative development and deployment of new and revision of existing ministerial HR policies
- Undertake research and analysis in support of ministerial HR policy development
- Act as Clerk for AGTAWM, working with the Chair and the Ministry HR Lead
- Provide support to projects led by others
Requirements
What you’ll need- A strong track record in policy development and implementation
- An understanding of the breadth of the Church of England and a willingness to serve the whole church
- Experience of clerking for a committee or board
- Willing to develop relevant Human Resources expertise
- A good communicator who is able to produce clear and concise written work
- Ability to assimilate and analyse large volumes of sometimes complex and technical data
- Strong numeracy skills with an ability to work confidently with MS Excel
- High levels of discretion and confidentiality
