About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assisting with the coordination of patient admission and transfer process
- Complete insurance verification and authorization
- Communicate with clinical liaisons regarding patient status
- Efficiently manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and utilize various systems and software to support daily operations
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- previous working experience with insurance companies to include verifications, authorizations, and referrals
- Excellent customer service skill required to answer incoming calls, that includes family members and referring entities
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Only candidates with appropriate experience will be considered.
