About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assisting with the coordination of patient admission and transfer process
  • Complete insurance verification and authorization
  • Communicate with clinical liaisons regarding patient status
  • Efficiently manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and utilize various systems and software to support daily operations
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • previous working experience with insurance companies to include verifications, authorizations, and referrals
  • Excellent customer service skill required to answer incoming calls, that includes family members and referring entities
  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Only candidates with appropriate experience will be considered.
