About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Communicate effectively and proactively with customers, stakeholders, and the product team
Actively participate in requirements refinement
Maintain up-to-date expertise in relevant programming languages, tools, and technologies
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
Design, document, develop, refactor, debug, test, maintain, monitor, and support secure, high-quality software applications
Lead and participate in design reviews and code reviews
Assist and support estimation, planning, scheduling, and resourcing activities
Mentor, support, and encourage software engineers of various abilities
Measure, monitor, and review our software, processes, and practices
Identify candidate technical approaches to support business requirements
Determine root cause for complex software issues and develop solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Full software development lifecycle (10+ years)
Object Oriented Programming (10+ years)
Automated developer testing (5+ years)
NET Core Web API C# and .NET (10+ years)
SQL / NoSQL (5+ years)
Major Public Cloud Platform, preferably Azure (2+ years)
Docker / containerisation / orchestration
Software design patterns, including SOLID design principles
Enterprise architecture and integration patterns
Source control, Git and GitHub
