About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with hiring managers across departments.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers in all departments.
- Guide hiring managers through the full recruitment process, including requisitions, job posting, candidate review, interviewing, and offer decisions.
- Proactively source candidates through mission-aligned job boards, social media, community outreach, employee referrals, church partnerships, and professional networks.
- Actively manage job postings across job boards and company website to ensure accurate communication of current openings.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of diverse, mission-aligned candidates for current and future openings.
- Represent the organization positively in the talent marketplace, promoting the non-profit’s mission and culture.
- Proactively attend career fairs and networking events to represent and promote the organization.
- Review resumes and conduct phone screens to assess candidate fit based on qualifications and alignment with organizational values.
- Conduct structured initial interviews to evaluate experience, skills, and cultural fit.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
- Oversee job requisition and referencing processes.
- Ensure each step of the process is in alignment with appropriate employment and labor laws and best practices.
- Extend offers to selected candidates and initiate onboarding steps.
- Track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruitment data and metrics.
- Provide reports and insights to improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Contribute to the improvement of hiring processes to support the organization’s growth and mission impact.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Embraces the organization’s Statement of Faith.
- 3+ years' experience in recruitment, human resources, talent acquisition, or a related HR function
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to work with all levels of management.
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Preferred: PHR/SHRM Certification.
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
