About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute promotions for On Premise accounts including bars and restaurants, and Off Premise accounts including grocery and liquor stores
- Conduct sampling events and participate in festivals
- Table at major campus events such as sporting events
- Improve account conditions and merchandising by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items
- Conduct waitstaff and bartender education sessions to drive brand awareness and account volume
- Work independently and with the Boston Beer sales team to increase product availability and visibility in local accounts on and around campus
- Travel regularly throughout the market and drive to and from accounts continuously
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be enrolled at or be a graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst
- Must live within 30 minutes of the campus
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a registered and insured vehicle
- Must be able to drive to and from accounts continuously
- Must be able to work afternoons, nights, and weekends
- Ability to tolerate cold temperatures
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle several times throughout the day
- May be required to stand for several hours during the workday or evening
- Ability to work in varying conditions due to the customer-facing nature of the role
- Regular travel in the market

Comp & perks- Part-Time academic year-long position
- Pay rate of $19 - $21 per hour
