About the role
- Coordinate and prepare, maintain and follow up on regulatory submissions for product approval, including formula and label approvals.
- Participate in interactions with regulatory agencies as needed to obtain product approval/clearance.
- Participate in key meetings and decision-making process regarding formulation and labeling.
- Assist in the review and approval of product labeling, packaging and advertising for compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and prepare regulatory submissions to support the import and export of alcoholic beverages.
- Coordinate, prepare, and maintain federal and state licensing to support the production and sales of alcoholic beverages.
- Prepare and organize internal databases and documents on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters.
- Performs other regulatory affairs duties when requested.
- May assist in the performance of internal quality and regulatory compliance audits and the evaluation and monitoring of corrective actions
- Perform factual and legal research
- Provides backup support to others on the Regulatory Affairs team
- Tactical/Execution of Regulatory tasks as assigned
Requirements
- 1 - 5 years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent, clear language and communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under time constraints and deadlines.
- 4-year degree
