About the role
- Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling process
- Learn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
- Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in multi-unit chains and key accounts
- Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers
- Use internal and external data to plan and identify opportunities across the district
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers
- Assist in developing Goals, Strategies, Objectives, and Tactics for the defined district
- Manage budget for given district and account base
- Conduct monthly/quarterly Planning & Review meetings
- Manage, lead, train, motivate, and develop team of direct reports
Requirements
- 4+ years Consumer Package Sales
- Proven success with managing and developing a team
- Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
- Valid driver's license and registered, insured vehicle
- Local travel to attend Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetings (~70%)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Alcohol beverage experience (preferred)
